scatterbrained

May 06, 2026

Scatterbrained. That’s kind-of how I’ve been feeling occasionally these days, both in my creative activities, as well as life in general.

It’s not a bad thing.

I’ve just started re-reading Rebecca Solnit’s wonderful book A Field Guide to Getting Lost. In it she expounds on the wisdom of learning to let go, of getting lost in the moment, of getting lost in life’s pursuits. I think it’s true - some of my best and most profound discoveries have come from surrendering to the unknown, taking a chance, and wandering down unknown paths.

So here are few of my favorite shots from some recently developed & scanned film. I know they are a bit scattered in terms of format, theme, style and subject. But maybe that’s a good thing?!

wishing you all the best in your life’s journeys,

Bobby
